We're told that Karen's OB practice has never had a pregnancy continue this long after seeing "reverse endiastolic flow" in the placenta (which is what put Karen in the hospital in the first place). In one sense, that's great and means we're doing better than could have been hoped for when we came in. In another, it's a bit nerve-racking because there's no standard protocol.

We'll be having biophysical profiles at least daily, regardless of the NST results.

To answer by far the #1 most-asked question of the week: Karen is not bored. Anxious, yes. Tired, certainly. But with irregularly scheduled tests and consultations, plenty of visitors, afternoon/evening time with Moorea, and constant political intrigue in the Democratic primary, there's been no room for boredom so far.
