For preemies, I think this is sort of like hitting for the cycle: successful feeding increase (single to right), significant weight gain (line drive double, up to 1190 grams as of this evening), PCVC line re-installed (triple past the first baseman), and yellow seedy poop (tape measure home run). Probably goes without saying that the scouts are impressed with a performance like that, especially this early in the spring.
P.S.- The editor of this blog tells me that (i) I should have made clear that the above is a (not very artful) baseball analogy -- the "cycle" is a single, double, triple and home run in a single game--and (ii) I'm a dork.
