Needed a little boost today

Tiegan got a blood transfusion this afternoon to help him with his oxygen saturation level (breathing), his energy level and his color because he has been struggling a bit in those categories the past few days. His new weight tonight is 1430 grams (up 40 g but we need to consider he received 21 ml of blood so that helped his weight increase, too). He's also getting a new medicine (epigen) to help him speed up his red blood cell production. He has been taken off the continuous feeds of 9 cc/hour and now gets 18 cc every two hours which fills up his belly and makes him a bit uncomfortable but at least he is digesting it. The initial report from his 30 day head ultrasound looks good, but the final report is not available yet.
