One year old - by everyone's definition now

It's Tiegan here. Yep, you can measure me by my due date or my actual birth date and I'm one year old either way! Goodbye preemie year. I am a kid on the move these days full of mischief and taking my sister's toys and art supplies any chance I get. I still have chicken legs (baby fat is overrated in the former NICU baby circles anyway) and I am also showing you my first booboo from a cruising misadventure before I had my balance in check. I think it makes me look tough, and since I'm still only 16 lbs 9 oz, I need to get my game face on if I am ever going to get a swing at the playground this summer.

Oh, for the record as soon as my mom and dad said I was sleeping through the night in the post back in March, I promptly stopped and demanded attention and milk at all sorts of ungodly hours again. I thought my family wanted to reminisce about my schedule this time last year and hear me practice my new words, but they're not as chipper about this all-night, every night nursing bit and keep saying "it's a growth spurt" or "maybe it's a tooth". Don't tell them but I just like the attention and once they started coming downstairs for my howls, why soothe myself back to sleep with some stuffed animals that only sing their ABCs? Mom and Dad are much more fun.
